UPDATE: 12/19/2006 - Fixed the Google/Yahoo sitemap function to also check for sitemaps that do not have “http://” but rather begin with “www.”
10/29/2006 - Some more functionality added, notably link popularity for the top 3 engines as well as # of pages indexed on these same 3, also yahoo directory listings and alexa ranking
10/25/2006 - A lot of functionality has been added but there is still a little way to go before the project wil be completely ready for use. As far as I can tell most sites seem to be working ‘OK’. There may be some isolated issues with redirects (please follow the note above) and subdomains. Please let me know if you come across any errors that you think shouldn’t be there as this will greatly help me to debug the tool.
