Just call up T-Mobile and say that you are travelling abroad to Europe and Asia (for vacation or business) and would like to unlock your phone because you want to use a local SIM card since international roaming is prohibitive. They will email you the unlock code. (I've done this today) If you buy a locked phone from someone else, you can still call T-Mobile customer care and say you bought this phone from the internet and don't have a T-Mobile account and wish for it to be unlocked. They will do so. (it would be easier if you know for a fact what the original phone # on the account was and if it is still in its contract period). Guys,
