For just about any other mobile device I certainly wouldn’t be writing this entry, but the iPhone from Apple is the worthy exception. The device that I and millions of others have been longing after for over five months finally received FCC approval today. No big deal, except for the fact that Apple couldn’t have sold it without their approval.

Usually when a device gets FCC approval it’s leaked with new information, photographs, user manuals, etc. Unfortunately that is not the case here with iPhone. Apple has asked the FCC to keep as much information as possible private until June 30th. So is June 30th the launch date? Who knows, but one thing that’s clear is we’re certainly getting closer and closer to iPhone being a reality.
