Google Operating System is reporting that Google Personalized Homepage, which I know that many of you readers and myself use, will be re-branded as iGoogle and will allow users to create their own gadgets using wizards. The gadgets will be very simple to use and are more like containers for photos, videos and events.
“Once the gadget is created, you can invite other people to view & use the gadget, and make it publicly available for other people to view & use it.” So whatever you choose to add to a gadget will be visible to the people you invited.
As of the time of this writing, there are seven different wizards you can choose from: Framed Photo, GoogleGram, Daily Me, Free Form, YouTube Channel, Personal List, and Countdown. The seven different wizards breakdown as follows:
1. Photo album - add up to 7 rotating photos.
2. GoogleGram - enter seven greeting messages.
3. Daily Me - say what you’re doing.
4. Countdown - count the days until an event.
5. Simple list - can be used as a To-Do list, shopping list, etc.
6. YouTube videos - choose up to 10 videos.
7. Freeform gadget - add an image and some text.
Google is introducing the gadgets as a way to keep in contact with your friends, think of it as social networking via Google services. For example, if one of your Gmail contacts creates a gadget you will be able to see it in a new section of iGoogle called My Community.
This sounds like a very fun concept, especially if you’re a heavy user of Google Personalized Homepage and all Google services like myself and Brian Borchers. I’ll try to play around with it later today and if I come up with anything decent I will post an update.

That’s pretty rad. I would even say it is not hip hop.
You use Google Personalized Homepage?
Also, interesting use of the hip hop, never seen it used after a negative like that.
no I don’t but it’s still cool.
