If she quits the industry altogether that is a good thing for men, because then they get to move on to the next rent-a-wife. It totally takes the cheating aspect out of relationships, as the wives will come and go so often that there won't be any time for cheating. As for the excuses, that's easy, you can just say what all Hollywood couples do: irreconcilable differences. And the grandparent pressure for kiddies, just say she was sterile. Problem solved. There's a myriad of excuses you could use. For example, just tell them that she is out working the corner (your relatives will laugh it off as a joke, but in actuality you're telling them the truth).
