The title pretty much sums up everything for this blog entry. 59-year-old substitute teacher Joan Donatelli in the UK has been arrested on allegations that she used cocaine repeatedly in front of the class she was teaching. Two girls, aged 9 and 10, told police that Donatelli was dipping a pen cap into a small plastic bag filled with white powder (thankfully this was in the UK, FOX News would have reported it as anthrax).
Police found traces of white powder in the classroom, and upon confronting Donatelli at her home were handed a small green bag full of powder and two pen caps. Both of the pen caps tested positive for cocaine and the teacher admitted to using the drug in front of the children. Of course, she later claimed to have an addiction that she’s been struggling with.
This story sort of reminds me of O.J.’s book that never was, the whole “I didn’t do it but if I did do it this is how I would have done it” scenario. What is this world coming to…
