iPhone Competitor From Meizu Becomes Official

Recently rumors have surfaced around the web about an iPhone look-alike from a Chinese company called Meizu. Today, these rumors became official, as the Chinese company announced that it will be releasing the much-hyped M8 mobile phone.

It’s going to be dubbed a “music phone,” and will ship with support for GSM and TD networks. It will sport a 3.3-inch 720×480 pixel VGA+ touch sensitive screen, 3 mega-pixel camera, ARM11 CPU capable of recording video in 30FPS utilizing the entire screen resolution, Bluetooth and TV Out capability.

It will reportedly run Microsoft’s latest Windows mobile OS, Windows CE 6.0, and is already being touted as the most formidable competitor for Apple’s up and coming iPhone.
