My Initial Forray Into Photoshop

Tonight was the first time I had some time to mess around a bit in Photoshop since getting it last week. I have used an older version of the marvelous product from Adobe, but my previous experience is constricted to saving objects for the web, and not much more than that. So tonight Carin said to take a couple of photos of us and see what I could come up with. Through a series of blending options which I cannot recall, the following have come to life:

This was my first creation. I thought it looked cool but this is Carin’s favorite picture of us so she obviously didn’t approve of what I did to it lol.

My second creation. After striking out tonight on pictures of the two of us, I decided to do a solo one of me, one of my favorite photos. I always wanted a good black and white photograph of myself, although this doesn’t necessary satisfy that requirement I still think it looks kind of cool.
