$30 for 30 Days - Day 23

Another one for the books! Today wasn’t too difficult though, as I got to eat lunch at the Google Cafeteria in their NYC office. If you’ve heard about Google recently being named the best place to work for you’ve certainly heard about their cafeterias. And I thought my old Seton Hall cafeteria was great, ha! I can’t really give details about anything as they made us sign non-disclosure agreements, but it was definitely the greatest office meal I’ve ever had, it felt like I was eating at a gourmet restaurant.

Dinner was rice once again. Carin brought over some more soy sauce (recall that I ran out last night) which saved a trip to the grocery store. Thus, the remaining funds remain. We talked about maybe buying some celery next week. Although it may be a little expensive, it probably falls within the remaining budget as there is only 8 days left and it is certainly very healthy for you.

hahaha sure I’ll give you some business cards and you can pretend to be me. Maybe you can even get your meals comped so you don’t have to break the $30 for 30 days plan! You’ll just have to cross out that whole “Erika Strum” part. That might be suspicious.

    Christine

I was looking forward to coming back to masses of $30 for 30 postings, only to find two :(
In any case, looks like DnD runs are back in business on Thursday :) Unless you’re planning on giving those up completely–you’re not, are you?

Sorry Christine, but two is better than none right? :)

DnD runs will be back soon. Actually, I did a DnD last Friday when it was freezing out, was doing good on the budget so I treated myself. Don’t worry, I didn’t betray you and go with Borchers and Mike. :P
