My apologies to my readers for missing a day on this topic, apparently the natives do get restless *cough* Christine *cough*. So far it remains smooth sailing as far as the experiment is concerned. I am beginning to find it mind-boggling that I haven’t spent a penny on food in the last 8 days. The rice definitely fills me up. I feel like I might be eating a bit much of it. I’m only eating a cup at any given sitting, but the fullness I get now after a cup is overwhelming compared to a week ago. 7 days ago I could have easily eaten 2 cups of rice in one sitting, now I struggle to finish one. For example, today at work I brought my typical container of rice, and after finishing it I felt pretty bloated all afternoon. Perhaps my stomach has gotten used to eating these different kinds of food and has accommodated in its expandability. I’m no nutritionist by any means, rather far from one, but I think it is pretty logical to assume that 500 calories of rice and 500 calories of meat occupy very different volumes inside your stomach. Henceforth, I am gonna be working to cut down on the size of rice portions from 1 cup to 1/2-3/4 of a cup.
In other news, I have decided what my first meal will be at the conclusion of the 30 days, a chicken and cheese roll with marinara sauce from the local pizzeria. Mmmm…
I hope this made for some good bathroom reading material Tadros. ![]()

Lol, why I appreciate the shout out. Admittedly I am a fan of $30 for 30 postings
