On November 24, 2006 Britney Spears was photographed getting out of a car without any underwear on, for all the world to see her nether regions. Ironically, Paris Hilton just so happened to be driving that car (I distinctly remember a similar incident happening to Miss Hilton a while back). While this incident alone is bad enough, it doesn’t satisfy the title of this blog entry, which makes use of the word “again.”

Fast forward a few days to November 29th, and after all the negative press and criticism against her character, she does it again!

Now, while the distastefulness of this needs no recognition, I will say a few things as to why it is even more appalling then as it seems on the surface. For starters, Britney Spears, you are no longer the sex symbol you used to be. Sure, males from teenage years all way up to seniors used to fantasize about you, until you married your ex-husband and completely stopped taking care of yourself. You have let yourself go, and your physical attractiveness has gone along for the ride as well. Secondly, how does a woman who is fighting for custody of her child let something like this happen? She is supposed to be providing the court evidence that she is the better parent for the child and the most fit to care for it, but what kind of message will this portray to the judge? Third, someone in her position, an idol to young girls all around the world, needs to be more responsible. No longer is she Britney the princess to them, but rather now Britney the porn star — enter Britney Spears sex tape (its only a matter of time). And finally, when did losing your self-respect and tossing aside your morals become the cool thing to do? These celebrities who act like this are such a waste. They have such great potential to make an extremely positive impact on lives throughout the world, yet they instead choose to indulge in their own selfish desires, whilst slowly contributing to the loss of integrity in America today. Wait, that’s been gone for some time now…
